In the petrochemical, chemical and refining industries, substances are processed that are often particularly corrosive and harmful to the environment. Added to this are high temperatures and pressures, which place the utmost demands on the components used.
Rattay offers custom-made stainless steel corrugated hoses and expansion joints for this purpose, which impress with their exceptional resistance to temperature, pressure and corrosion. They are specially designed to safely compensate for movement and reliably isolate vibrations.
The focus is always on safety and reliability – even under extreme operating conditions and in corrosive environments. Stainless steel corrugated hoses for chemical and petrochemical applications are welded without gaps or burrs. For particularly demanding applications, hoses made from higher-alloyed, highly corrosion-resistant nickel-based alloys are used.
For use in refineries – particularly in FCC units – Rattay supplies expansion joints made from multi-layer bellows with continuous leakage monitoring. The company holds U-Stamp certification for applications in the ASME sector.
